Q: How can I keep my carpets cleaner for a longer period of time?

A: Vacuum twice a week, this will help prevent soil build up. Use door mats and regular changing of air conditioner filters also prevent soil build up.

Q:  How often should I clean my carpets?

A:  Cleaning is recommended every six months or twice a year.  Custom Carpet will book you in advance!

Q:  How long do carpets take to dry after a steam cleaning?

A:  Drying times may vary depending on the fiber of the carpet.  Normal drying time is between three to six hours.

Q:  My carpets were cleaned yesterday, today I have yellow spots. Why?

A:  This is known as browning.  It can happen when carpets do not dry properly (improper ventilation).  The problem is fixed by applying an acid base on the carpet which lowers the Ph levels of the carpet and neutralizes it.
